First off, that’s my cat Tigger. It may not look it, but we’re buddies.

Anyways, my name is Tommy Long and I graduated from the University of Georgia with an advertising degree in 2023. While I have a deep interest in the world of branding and creative strategy for advertisements, my true passion is photography.

It all started in 2017 when I injured my back playing soccer for my high school. Recovery was a long and arduous process. While I wasn’t feeling too great in the physical department, the primary struggle was mental, as soccer was out of the picture for me. With my newfound free time, photos emerged as an outlet. I traveled more and captured beautiful moments.

I’ve created amazing memories of walking around downtown Athens, North Campus, or the Georgia Botanical Gardens with a friend and a camera. Documenting the awkward fake laughs that turned into real ones and seeing the look on their face when they actually loved how they looked in the photo.

I want to share those good times with you. It will feel like I am just a friend with a camera.
